1 Develop Five Years Strategic Plan
EvaSUE is close to announcing its new 2018 – 2022 strategic plan. In February 2017 a strategic planning steering committee appointed to design a five-year strategic plan. This committee devotedly began to review the foundational principles, identity, and structure, EvaSUE’s Mission and Values were therefore exhaustively reviewed. And also, the strength, weakness, opportunities, and threats were deeply and carefully examined in the last one year.
This process delivered two main documents that will be a great help for the planning itself and for the overall ministry guide. First, three-page ideology paper that describes EvaSUE’s identity, essence and purpose. More than forty-one individuals that represent students, graduates and staff workers participated to produce this paper. The other delivery of the planning process is SWOT analysis of the ministry. 158 individuals from five different stakeholder clusters gave their response by a focus group discussions and interviews. After all this assessment last October 2017 the steering
committee and other folks from students, graduates and board members came up together to set goals.
In general, when the strategic plan is implemented, it will be a great help to improve the organizational structure and shape of EvaSUE and to increase its effectiveness and efficiency.
2 Organizational restructuring
The new HR manual was finalized at the beginning of 2017. EvaSUE’s Operational System and Structuring Committee came up with a new Human Resource Manual and started its implementation as of January 3, 2017, the work included restructuring, developing JD for each ministerial job and devising a human resource policy.
Up on the implementation, EvaSUE underwent through a serious organizational restructuring.
3 Staff Development
In 2017 sixteen new full-time ministers, campus staff workers have joined the student ministry. These brothers and sisters have taken the training of Campus mission mobilization project. They are going to spend with the campus fellowships, the main role of these campus staffs will be to direct the campus fellowships, teach students and become a model for the students, as Paul advised Timothy on 1st Timothy 4: 11-12.
